Diner Talk – Idea Stimulator

Sunday, September 28th, 2008

This a peculiar American phenomenon. This stimulator can be interpreted by a food, life style, architectural, or location photographer. Here’s a language invented by a sub-culture. Adam and Eve on a raft = two poached eggs on toast. Belch water = seltzer. Burn the British = toasted English muffin. Clean up the kitchen = an order of hash. Looseners = stewed prunes. Wreck a pair = two scrambled eggs. Colorful, eh? Almost as colorful as the people who work in those places. Cashiers, bus boys, short order cooks, etc.
